When you come for a lesson at Black Star Farm Ltd, you will not only learn how to ride a horse, but how to communicate with a horse in a gentle, connected way. Our instructors, Heather Burke and Kayla Goelz, have combined experience with horses and instructing of over 30 years. They have studied under some of the greatest horsemen and horsewomen known, including Mark Rashid, Peggy Cummings, Ray Hunt, Tom Dorrance, Lee Smith, and so many more. Heather and Kayla will cater to your individual needs. Whether you have never ridden before, or are an experienced rider just looking for more, they can help you achieve your goals. Take a lesson on one of our gentle horses, haul your own horse in, or we will travel to your house to work with you and your personal horse.
